The Folk Collective: An Inaugural Celebration

Join us on May 6th for our first Folk Collective musical event, curated and produced by 2022-2023 cohort members. This celebratory event features in-the-round musical performances by The Folk Collective, an exceptional group of artists, activists, musicians, teachers, and thought leaders whose diverse lived experiences, identities, and artistic expressions shape the sound of Folk music. Indeed, our luminaries will light up the Passim stage with their distinct voices, style, and musical expression!

Musical round performances include:

The Emerging Artist with Anju, Audrey Pearl, & Gabriella Simpkins

The Established Artist Journey with Naomi Westwater, Maxfield Anderson, & Cliff Notez

The Parent Artist Journey with Lydia Harrell, Peter Mulvey, & Stephanie McKay

The Artist Activist Journey with Alastair Moock, Almira Ara, & Kim Moberg

The Folk Collective is a quarterly gathering of twelve artists, creatives, and musicians. Through an active exchange of ideas and conversation, Passim aims to collaborate with The Folk Collective to present inclusive and equitable events that welcome and invite diverse audiences and artists to the Passim stage.
